A Family Journey Built on Care

Falafel Gourmet grew from a family’s dream to share fresh Mediterranean cooking, homemade dishes, and warm service with the community in a cozy space built on care and steady daily preparation.

A Small Dream Begins

Years ago, finding simple Armenian and Middle Eastern ingredients in South Florida was not easy. Choices were limited, and many shops felt plain or unfriendly. That changed when a bright, well-stocked market opened in Coral Springs. Visitors were welcomed with warmth by Hamest and her husband, Mohammed, who hoped to create a place that felt calm, clean, and easy to shop in.

Tanvir took over the ownership more than a year ago and kept the standard high. With years of experience, both Barkat and Tanvir have been transforming the business, making it stronger across digital platforms, reaching out to more customer segments using AI, social platforms, and digital marketing tools.

Shelves are filled with dried goods, canned items, cheeses, yogurt, sweets, and frozen meats, including lamb. Labels from many countries show how diverse the area has become. Halal and Kosher products sit side by side, helping families from many backgrounds find what they need. Guests often mention how bright and organized the space feels, which has helped the store grow through steady word of mouth.

A Place That Feels Like Home

Meals such as kabob plates, salads, shawarma, savory pies, and falafel sandwiches are prepared onsite each day. The couple hopes to grow into a full restaurant, but for now they remain focused on serving the community through their market and takeout menu. Many visitors return because the space feels warm and familiar, and because they know each dish is prepared with care and real attention to detail.
